Upholstery
Cleaning:
As
one of your biggest investments, you want to make your
upholstered living room, dining room, or bedroom furniture
provide many years of splendid use, a frequent deep clean
of your upholstery is recommended and will ensure longer
life of your favorite furniture. Upholstery involves a
variety of fabric types. Our experienced technicians are
able to provide and estimate of the required cleaning,
detailed description of the process, and perform the process.
We provide upholstery services on fabrics from simple
to delicate fabrics, and even exotic. With several different
tools and solutions for all types of materials The Denali
Clean team is able to handle your toughest stains. With
our state of the art equipment we are able to extract
up to 99.9% of the solution and water from your furniture,
reducing our drying time on upholstery to only 1-2 hours,
depending on the size of your item.
Your
furniture is as important in appearance as your carpet.
That’s why we use the same Deep cleaning process for
upholstery cleaning that we do for carpet cleaning. Our
upholstery cleaning system includes a specially formulated
pH-balancing fiber rinse that removes cleaning solution
residue right along with deep-down dirt - leaving nothing
behind but the clean, fresh-smelling furniture.
How
it works:
- Our
technicians arrive at your home, and start with a pre-inspection
to identify problem areas.
- Any
problem spot areas are pre-treated.
- Then
our Deep Clean process goes to work.
- Clean
one of our specially heated cleaning solution is then
applied to the fabric to loosen imbedded dirt.
- Rinse
it’s followed by a thorough fiber rinse and extraction
step to remove the dirt and cleaning solution.
- With
our high powered equipment we are able to remove over
90% of the excessive water lessening our drying time to
1-2 hours depending on product size.
- We
then recommend an application of ScotchGard fabric protector,
which helps restore protective properties to your furniture,
extending its life and making it easier to care for.

The
Importance of Protecting Your Upholstery
1.Most new
upholstered furniture comes treated with protector which
wears off over time.
2.Having the protector reapplied helps preserve the
color, beauty, and life of your upholstery. |
Help
get rid of odors in your furniture :
which are no match for our deodorizers designed to
attack odor-causing organic sources.
The
enzymes eliminate odors from urine, feces, vomit,
sour milk and more by actually digesting the organic
matter that's causing the smell - leaving your furniture
smelling fresh again |

| Leather
Cleaning:

we are able to renew your leather furniture to that original soft
supple feel and look. (We are able to remove all types of soils
listed below)
Some
very important information on Leather furniture we would like to
share.
Consumers
are frequently told that the leather they purchased is low maintenance
and can easily be wiped off with soap and water. However there are
several problems / misconceptions which occur from this lack of
information.
- Low maintenance
is usually interpreted as no maintenance. "Protected"
leathers have a durable pigmented finish, but not indestructible.
- The use
of non-professional leather cleaning products,( such as soap &
water), may break down this durable finish causing the pigment
to crack or peel.
- Improper
maintenance directly leads to expensive restoration or replacement.
- Aniline and
Nubuck leathers are not low maintenance, but are extremely porous,
and should be cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis to protect
your investment.
- Leather
is purchased primarily for the most active rooms in the house.
This choice makes good maintenance a high priority to protect
the looks of your investment and for prolonging the life of your
leather.
- Leather tanneries
and manufacturers world-wide recommend proper cleaning and protection
treatments every six months to extend the life of the leather
and prevent premature cracking, peeling and color loss.
MAIN
DAMAGING CONTRIBUTANTS TO LEATHER
- Atmospheric
Soils -Example dust, airborne cooking oils, and
atmospheric pollution's that is present, to some degree, in every
home.
- Common
Soils-Example outside
dirt, sand and vegetable fibers from plants, which can be transferred
to leather directly or indirectly.
- Dyes
and Inks -Example newspaper print, denims will
lose some of their dye in a process called crocking, and lets
not forget the leaky pen and the smallest artists.
- Oils
and Grease - Body oils from both humans and animals,
hair and hand oils are easily transferred to the arms and head
cushions of leather furniture.
- Invariables-
scuffs, scratches, surface cuts, and fading are other problems
that will happen periodically to leather.
-
Dryness to leather can be
effectively treated with the addition of the appropriate conditioners.
Even rare problems like mold and spew can be addressed.
TYPES
OF LEATHER
- Aniline-Also
known as Natural, Pure, Naked, and Unprotected - These are Leathers
that are colored with transparent dyestuff. This means you are
able to see the actual surface grain markings. These Leathers
have very little or no protective treatments applied to them.
- Protected
- Also known as Finished, Semi Aniline, Everyday, Pigmented
and Painted These Leathers have combined the best aspects of a
natural product (Leather) and have utilized tannery technology
to create a product that is more uniform in appearance and color.
- Nubuck
- Also known as Chaps, Distressed, Bomber, and Suede These
are actually Aniline Leathers that the surface has been brushed,
and have created a texture similar to velvet on Leather upholstery
or fabric. Suede is the "flesh" side of a piece of Leather
and NuBuck is an effect that is done to the grain side. Because
NuBucks and Aniline Leathers are alike, it's sometimes hard to
tell them apart.
